The Story Behind the Product
Each beautiful piece has been handcrafted by talented artisans in India. The women all part own the co-operatives which means as well as being paid for their work, they also receive shares in the co-op’s profits too. The sale of each piece of jewellery helps to give the women meaningful work and payments above minimum wage, helping them to progress within their society.
In India, child labour is very common in the production of costume jewellery. By partnering with Fair Trade organisations, we ensure that there is no child labour used in the production of our products.
