These clutches were hand-selected during a sourcing trip to Guatemala where I worked with Trama Textiles for several months. Trama Textiles is an association of around 400 women across Guatemala who specialise in backstrap loom weaving. The women united together to form a bond over their century-old Mayan tradition after the devastation of the civil war. Each piece requires tremendous skill and can sometimes take over a month to make.
